Peoples Bank VP attends signing ceremony

Lumpkin serves as first vice chair for the Community Bankers Association of Georgia (CBA) Leadership Division.

For 17 years, bankers have used community banking month to inform the public of the important economic and social contribution their banks make in their hometowns.
“Community banks are an integral part of the economic, financial and civic fabric of hundreds of towns and cities in Georgia,” said Carolyn Brown, president and CEO of CBA. “Community banks continue to work hard every day to improve the quality of life in their communities because they are part of their community – a uniqueness that only community banks can bring to the table.”

Brown thanked Gov. Perdue for taking the time to meet with representatives from CBA’s board of directors and for recognizing the impact community banks make.
