GED orientation schedule announced

Lanier Tech has announced its second quarter GED orientation schedule. The orientation and classes are free.

The sessions will be offered at two locations. GED orientations will be held at the Winder Library, 189 Bell View Street, on April 16, April 30, May 14 and June 4. Each session will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Night sessions will be held at the Lanier Tech campus located at 89 E. Athens St. in Winder. Students attending the night sessions must attend on two consecutive nights. The first orientation is scheduled for May 5 and 6 and the second will be held June 9 and 10.

Participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes early. Students should bring a state issued picture identification, scrap paper for the math tests and a pencil
