Woman jailed after causing accident
A Winder woman was jailed after causing an accident on Highway 8.
Stephanie Denise Lowery, 42, of 139 Northridge Drive in Winder, was attempting to cross Highway 8 when she failed to yield to oncoming traffic.
In the course of investigating the accident, the officer determined that Lowery had a canceled driver’s license.
Lowery was charged with driving while unlicensed and failure to yield. She was transported to the Gwinnett County jail.

• Matthew Shane Knight, 18, 5311 Old Winder Highway, Winder, entering auto, second degree forgery and theft by taking.
• Jeffrey Lanier McCollum, 47, 1523 Betts Mill Road, Auburn, family violence simple battery.
• Robert James Gregory, 28, 776 Brooklyn Trace, Bethlehem, probation violation.
