Statham Police made three arrests during the past week, two of which were for driving under the influence.
Gerald Walter Dulaney, 49, of 596 Eighth Street in Statham, was arrested on April 2 for multiple traffic violations. Dulaney was charged with DUI, driving while license suspended, failure to maintain lane, expired tag, driving while registration suspended, no insurance and probation violation. According to jail records, Dulaney was on probation for a previous DUI arrest.
Statham Police made another arrest for DUI on April 3. Ronald Lawrence Carroll, 21, of 180 East Fork Lane in Pendergrass was charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana after a traffic stop on Atlanta Highway.
The other person arrested by Statham Police last week was George Anthony Baldwin, 26, of 1898 Apt. B Dooley Town Road in Statham. Baldwin was arrested after an April 4 domestic dispute on Dooleytown Road. He is facing multiple charges including disorderly conduct, drugs to be kept in original container, six violations of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act related to the possession of Xanax and six counts of going inside the guardline with drugs.
One traffic accident was reported during the past week. A two car accident occurred on Atlanta Highway at Dooleytown Road on April 2. There were no injuries.
For the week, Statham officers issued 20 citations and six warnings.
