Woman seeks help dealing with Facebook friend
A Hoschton woman called the Sheriff’s Office after an old boyfriend refused to take a hint.
The woman said she recently reestablished contact with a high school boyfriend through Facebook.
After exchanging several messages on Facebook, the woman agreed to meet with the man in person at an area grocery store.
After meeting with her former boyfriend, the woman decided that the man was “becoming too involved and wanting more out of the friendship.”
The woman said she told the man that she no longer wanted to speak with him.
Despite expressing her desire to terminate the Facebook friendship, the man continued to call, text and send online messages. According to the woman, the ex-boyfriend even came to her residence unannounced. After being told to leave, he did so without incident. The woman said she suspects the man got her address from Facebook.
