I was just on Facebook and someone had this in their status, but they didn't say what had happened to the woman. This is why I love this web site and newspaper, because it keep us in the know--unlike the "other" paper that claims to keep you updated with the latest breaking news on their web site--but doesn't, lol!!

my husband and i and another woman saw this lady and stopped. how can people be so cruel in this world to see someone laying on the side of the road and not stop and see if they are ok. my prayers are with the womans family. i wish there was more we could have done.

my mom was the other lady i cant believe no one else would stop or even notice that if yall wouldnt have rode by who knows how long that lady would have been out there

From the bottom of my heart Thank you so much for stopping!I'm her brother,Mary was a loving mother of three,They think that she dropped her cell phone in the floor and took her seatbelt off so she could reach it and ran off the road and everyone knows the rest!God Bless you All!
