A Winder teen is dead after a fall from a Florida hotel balcony.
According to police, Brandon Ward Kohler, 19, fell from the fifth floor of the Holiday Terrace Motel on Wednesday night just before 8:30 p.m. The Winder Barrow High School graduate was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Panama City Beach Police Department is currently investigating the incident. A police spokesman said no determination has been made regarding whether or not foul play was involved.
An autopsy is scheduled for March 26 at 9 a.m.

Brandon Kohler was very much loved in this community. He has helped so many people out, and he always had a smile on his face. His happiness was contagious. We will never forget you Brandon, and we know you are better off up there.

I hope someone investigates this thoroughly. The guy that was portrayed as Brandons friend on Panama City News was not his friend, in fact brandon and his friends had never hung out with this guy like the guy said.

Winder, Georgia suffered a deep loss with the death of Brandon. His smile was contagious and heart sincere. Everyone loved him. God Bless his family and friends. I know that he met Jesus with a beautiful smile on his face.
