Last week’s Barrow Journal poll asked respondents what the top priority of Winder officials should be.
Forty-one percent of poll participants indicated traffic congestion is a top concern.
Reducing government spending was the next most popular issue with 35 percent of the vote. Revitalizing downtown and encouraging new development near Hwy. 316 were favored by 11 and 10 percent of respondents respectively.
Four percent of the vote went to other issues including reducing crime, avoiding lawsuits and repairing area roads.
