YearOne will hold its Braselton Bash on Saturday, April 17, from 3-8 p.m., at its facility on Cherry Drive, located off Ga. Hwy. 53.
Also, the event will include the public safety awareness and law enforcement day, along with the Jackson County Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual chili cook-off.
The YearOne Braselton Bash will include a car show with awards for the top 25 vehicles. The entry fee is $5 with a portion of the proceeds benefiting charity. All makes and models of cars and trucks are welcome.
Parking and admission is free for visitors. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
In addition to the car show, a burnout show, family activities and kids area are planned. A cruise night will also be held at Gresham Motorsports Park, Jefferson.
For the public safety awareness and law enforcement day at YearOne, the Gainesville Police Department will have interactive DUI demonstrations, and there are planned appearances by Life Flight and Georgia State Patrol helicopters. The Braselton Police Department, and the West Jackson Fire and Rescue Department will also participate.
The chamber’s chili cook-off will be held at YearOne, from 4-6 p.m. Visitors tasting the chili will pick their favorites.
