The City of Auburn will host its annual Springfest on Saturday, March 27 from 12-3 p.m. at James Shackelford Memorial Park on Browns Bridge Road. The event will include activities for the entire family.
Parking will be available at the Old Ingles in Auburn. Shuttle buses will begin running at 12 p.m.
This year’s Springfest includes an Easter egg hunt featuring over 15,000 eggs. The hunt is open to children up to 12 years of age. Toddlers participating in the hunt must be able to walk and pick up eggs. The hunt begins at 2 p.m. with the youngest age groups going first.
Other events include an egg toss, petting zoo and other games and activities. There will also be an opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny.
Hot dog plates will be available for $4 and include a hot dog, potato salad, chips and a drink.
In the event of rain, the Springfest will be held on April 3.
