‘Dorothy Meets Alice’ to run Mar. 12-13
The Winder-Barrow Class Act Players will perform Dorothy Meets Alice at the Colleen O. Williams Theater on Friday, Mar. 12 and Saturday, Mar. 13.
The evening will begin with an array of selected scenes and monologues followed by Dorothy Meets Alice, a one act play by Joseph Robinette which explores what happens when the characters of the beloved classics The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland meet. In the play, the Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Mad Hatter, Dormouse, White Rabbit, Dorothy and Alice join forces to help a young boy write a book report for class. Look for the Wicked Witch and the Red Queen of Hearts to make an appearance as well.
The performances begin at 7 p.m. each night. Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the door and may be purchased from any WBHS drama student or by contacting the director, Sherelle Patisaul at (770) 867-4519.
