BOE, Winder council meetings rescheduled

Due to inclement weather, the March 2 meetings of the Barrow County Board of Education and Winder City Council have been rescheduled.

The Barrow County Board of Education meeting has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 4.

In addition, the Winder City Council rescheduled its meeting for 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at the Winder Community Center.

Tuesday's snow also caused local schools to dismiss students early. The Barrow County School System began sending students home shortly after lunch.
