Man arrested for striking boyfriend

Stacy Dewayne Peppers, 41, of 39 Alexander Street, reportedly accused his live-in partner of cheating on him. The victim said an intoxicated Peppers struck him on the right side of his head. The blow caused the victim to fall over the sofa onto the floor where he said he remained “dazed” for some period of time.

Peppers allegedly then tried to puncture the tires of the victim’s vehicle with a pocket knife. When he was unable to do this, he used the knife to scratch the paint on the hood of the car. The incident was witnessed by two other people.

Peppers was arrested the following day.
