WINDER - Bobby Joe Dalton, 80, died Saturday, February 20, 2010.
A native and lifelong resident of Barrow County, he was a son of the late George and Emma Page Dalton. Mr. Dalton was preceded in death by a son, John Dalton. He was a member of Bethabra Baptist Church and was employed for many years by the former Handy Andy Convenience Store and by Ingles Grocery Store.
Survivors include his wife, Etha Melton Dalton, Winder; children, Nancy Luke, Bogart, Rita Cole, Hartwell, Roger Dalton and Jimmy Dalton, both of Winder; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Monday, February 22, from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Landon Frymire officiating.
