A Winder woman was arrested after allegedly fighting with her two sisters regarding the purchase of some marijuana.
According to the report, Tynesha Thurmond, 27, of 126 Capital Avenue, and her boyfriend Antonio Stillwell arrived home around 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 6 after an evening of drinking.
One of Thurmond’s sisters admitted asking Stillwell where she could “get some weed.” Stillwell made several phone calls in an attempt to procure weed for the woman, but could not reach a supplier.
One of Thurmond’s sisters said Thurmond and Stillwell began fighting and Stillwell left the residence. Thurmond then began fighting with her sisters. Thurmond reportedly bit, punched, scratched and pulled the nipples of her sister during the confrontation.
Thurmond was also accused of throwing an unopened can of beer and an iron at her sisters before pushing over a television and television stand.
According to one of the sisters, Thurmond was upset because she believed her sister had given Stilwell money to buy marijuana.
Thurmond fled from the scene but was quickly apprehended by officers. Thurmond was charged with battery and simple battery.
