An Auburn man called police after his soon to be ex-wife threatened to “kick his ass.”
The threat came on the heels of a Feb. 10 argument in which the man learned that the two-year-old girl he had been raising as his own was not his child.
There were no witnesses to the incident and the threat was not recorded.
The man said he did not wish to press charges, he was simply tired of the verbal abuse.
Other recent incidents investigated by Auburn Police include:
• recovered stolen property on Springbrook Drive. A couple reported they had recovered a vehicle which had been stolen from them in 2008.
• domestic dispute on Main Street. Police accompanied a woman while she retrieved personal belongings from a residence after a verbal dispute with her boyfriend.
• deceased person on Summit Ridge. A 65-year-old man who had been released from the hospital the day before was found dead. The coroner determined the man died from complications related to cancer and kidney problems.
• dog bite on Christy Lane. A man was bitten by a dog after he struck it. The man said he struck the dog because it was running towards his son.
