Bar fight ends with arrest

When police arrived, several male subjects were yelling and cursing inside the bar.

One of the men said he was at the jukebox when Marty Nolan Wilson, 50, of 288 Seventh Avenue in Winder, took a swing at him. A third man then attempted to join the fray.

A witness said that Wilson was the aggressor and that the man at the jukebox had done nothing wrong.

While the officer was interviewing the witness, Wilson began swearing and attempted to challenge the man he hit to another fight. When the officer ordered Wilson to sit down, Wilson cursed at him saying he did not care about the police and “something about being a redneck.”

The officer arrested Wilson for public intoxication and creating a disturbance in a beer establishment. Once at the jail, Wilson became uncooperative again. According to the report this behavior “resulted in him being tackled in the booking room, being tased and being put in the pro-straint chair.”
