An 18-year-old teen called police after his mother and father began arguing about the family’s dog.
The teen said when his mother attempted to leave the residence in a pickup truck, his father threatened to cut the tires and smash the windows of the vehicle.
The father confirmed that the argument started with a discussion about the dog not being taken out. The father admitted telling his wife she was not going to leave in the truck and that she was not going to take the jacket she was wearing at the time. He also admitted that he threatened to cut the tires or smash the windows of the pickup truck.
The wife said she felt everyone in the residence had “ganged up” on her. She said she did not fear her husband, but wanted him to “talk to her as a married couple.”
After meeting with police, the wife left the residence to stay with a friend. No charges are expected to be filed.
