Barrow County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man in connection with a Jan. 12 shooting in Braselton.
Lloyd Hudson, 38, of 1235 Highway 124 in Braselton, is facing charges of aggravated assault and violation of Georgia’s controlled substances act.
Deputies were dispatched to Hudson’s residence just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday evening. Upon arrival, deputies found Kreg Rayburn, 24, suffering from gunshot wounds to the leg and foot. Rayburn was flown by helicopter to Grady Medical Center in Atlanta for treatment.
Investigators are attempting to determine the motive and events that precipitated the shooting, said Inv. Matt Guthas of the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators believe there was a dispute between Hudson and Rayburn, but the details of the altercation are still under investigation.
Rayburn was reportedly shot with a .357 revolver. He remains hospitalized at Grady in stable condition.
Our WONDERFUL Board of Buffoons and the idiot Chairperson would rather WASTE tax payer dollars on defending their own acts of stupidity than give the sheriff or DA the funds to cut down on crime.
Don't blame the DA when he's what he can with the limited funds he has.
Ask Yearwood why he is spending more money defending the actions of the government (himself and the buffoons) than he allotted the DA to prosecute criminals in the county.
HOW MANY OF OUR TOP OFFICIALS TOOK A PAY CUT & HOW MANY GOT RAISES? IF OUR DA HAS TO CUT BACK ON PROTECTING OUR COMMUNITIES & EMPLYOYEES TAKE CUTS WHAT ABOUT OUR COMMISSIONER? FAIR IS FAIR..
