Statham Police responded to three disturbances during the past week.
The first disturbance was reported on Jan. 4 at a Butterfly Lane residence. The investigation is ongoing and charges may be filed.
On Jan. 5, officers were dispatched to a Jefferson Street business after a disturbance was reported. No arrests were made, but the incident remains under investigation and charges are pending.
A third disturbance was reported Jan. 7 at a Broad Street residence. Fredrick L. Metz, 42, of 2009 Broad Street in Statham was charged with battery in connection with the incident.
The Statham Police Department is also investigating a burglary which occurred at a Jefferson Street residence on Jan. 7. Several electronic items were reported missing.
Officers responded to one traffic accident during the past week. One person received minor injuries in a Jan. 4 collision at the intersection of Highway 316 and Highway 211.
For the week, officers issued two citations and four warnings.
