HOSCHTON - James Woodfin Wade, 73, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010.
Born in Barrow County, he was the son of the late O. H. and Irene Walls Wade. He was the retired manager of Purex Corporation Pool Supply Distributors and had resided in Barrow County for most of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Turk Wade; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Shellie Wade, Winder; grandchildren, Jenna Wade Berryman and spouse, Matt, Kevin Wade, Brittany Richardson, and Cole Ellis Wade; great-grandchildren, Kaylle Grace, Addison, Olivia, Alexis and Hazen.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 10, at 2:30 p.m., from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jodie Hice officiating. Burial will be in the Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 9, at the funeral home from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
