Sentences issued in deposit account fraud cases

The following deposit account fraud cases were heard in Barrow County Magistrate Court on Dec. 29, 2009 with Judge June Davis presiding. The defendants were sentenced as follows:

• Edward Bogan, bench warrant issued.

• Kineshia Brown, guilty plea on five counts of deposit account fraud: one year probation and a total of $1,130.65 in fines and restitution.

• Jack E. Cook, guilty plea: one year probation and $742.23 in fines and restitution.

• Lisa L. Gordan, nolo contendre: one year probation and $479.99 in fines and restitution.

• Constance N. Jackson, paid.

• Racheal D. Mauldin, guilty plea on five counts of deposit account fraud: $1,369.14 in fines and restitution.

• Kimberly D. McElhannon, paid.

• William D. Robinson, guilty plea: one year probation and $1,220 in fines and restitution.

• J. Nicole Thomason, bench warrant issued.

• Jason Michael Turpin, nolo contendre: one year probation and $613 in fines and restitution.

• Billie E. Westbury, bench warrant issued.
