A Suwanee man who came to the Auburn Police Department seeking help with a domestic issue was arrested after an officer learned the man was wanted.
Antonio English, 38, of 707 Jackson Park Lane in Suwanee, was arrested for a probation violation warrant issued by the Flowery Branch Police Department.
English was turned over to Flowery Branch police without incident.
Other arrests made by Auburn Police this past week include:
• Marcus Wayne Wallace, 37, of 316 Carter Road in Auburn was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Winder after being stopped for improperly towing a vehicle. An officer spotted Wallace’s Jeep being towed by a truck using only a chain. The officer stopped both vehicles and discovered Wallace had a warrant for his arrest.
• Joshua Brian Dawson, 24, of 119 Clarks Bridge Road in Gainesville was arrested after an officer noticed him sitting in a vehicle parked near the People’s Bank after normal bank hours. A check of Dawson’s license revealed he was wanted out of Lumpkin County for probation violation.
• Railynn Dorothea Ivie, 40, of 64 Main Street in Auburn was charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane. An officer noticed Ivie driving eastbound on Atlanta Highway. According to the report, Ivie ran off the roadway twice in a short distance before being stopped by the officer. Ivie admitted having six beers. She was transported to the Gwinnett County Detention Center.
• Ronnie Kenneth Langley, 34, of 203 Hill Street in Auburn, was a passenger in a vehicle which was stopped for suspicion of DUI. During the course of the traffic stop, the officer discovered that Langley had an active warrant out of Barrow County for probation violation.
