An Auburn woman called police to report $100 missing from a locked box.
The woman informed police that she kept the money in the locked box under her bed. When she counted the money on the morning of Nov. 27, she had $980. The woman advised that when she recounted the money that evening, she only had $880.
According to the woman, the box was locked at all times and had not been moved from its location under the bed at her Courtney Lane residence. The woman said her father-in-law and son were at the residence during the day, but she did not believe either of them would have taken the money.
Due to lack of evidence, the case was closed.
