Barrow citizens’ group to meet May 18

The Barrow Citizens’ Partnership for Effective Government (CPEG) will hold its organizational meeting Sunday, May 18 in the Village Hall of The Georgia Club.

The non-profit, bipartisan group is open to all property owners in Barrow County. The Barrow CPEG will monitor the Barrow County Commissioners and Board of Education meetings in order to provide concerned citizens with information about issues likely to affect property values.

The objectives of the group include increasing awareness of Barrow County issues, maximizing voter participation and increasing community involvement.
