Auburn Police were called to a Hilltop Circle address after a complaint about a noisy domestic dispute.
Jeffrey Hollis Bagwell, 38, of 82 Hilltop Circle in Auburn, was arguing with his mother, Barbara Waldroup, 59, when the two walked outside. The mother then walked back into the house and locked the door, leaving Bagwell unable to enter the residence.
According to the police report, Bagwell banged on the door long enough to generate a noise complaint and then broke down the back door.
Bagwell was transported to the Gwinnett County jail after being charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Waldroup was cited for disorderly conduct and released.
Other arrests made by Auburn Police this past week include:
• Jeffrey Wayne Boss, 30, of 386 Stonebrooke Drive, Auburn, outstanding warrant for failure to appear.
