Quiet week for Statham PD

The Statham Police Department investigated five incidents during the past week. The incidents under investigation include two instances of criminal trespass and two reports of mailbox damage. The fifth incident reported was the theft of a MP3 player from an automobile parked at a Greenfield Drive residence.

Police responded to one traffic accident last week. The collision occurred at the intersection of Broad Street at Providence Road. There were no injuries.

For the week, Statham officers issued six traffic citations and three warnings.
