Tools, lawn equipment stolen from vehicle
An Auburn man called police after discovering multiple items had been stolen from his truck and his trailer.
The man parked his vehicle and the trailer at his residence on Carter Road on the night of October 27. The following morning, the man found that his truck tool box and trailer had been opened. There was visible damage to the trailer lock and a pry-bar was located on the ground near the trailer.
The missing items are the property of the victim’s employer and included a reel mower, blower, hedge trimmer, edger, ladder, chain saw and other tools valued in excess of $5,600.
The incident is under investigation.
