James Chapin Wright, 66, of Winder, died Saturday, May 3, 2008.
Born in Kalamazoo, Mich., he was the son of the late James Chapin and Jeanne Carpenter Gagnier. He was a member of Northside Presbyterian Church and was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Gwen Wright, Winder; son, James Thomas Wright, St. Louis; grandchild, Kelsey Wright; brothers, Jack Wright, California, and Timothy Wright, Texas.
The family will hold a private service at a later date. The body was to be cremated.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
