‘Rick’ Blessing
John “Rick” Blessing, 53, of Winder, died Sunday, May 4, 2008.
Born in Paducah, McCracken County, he was the son of the late Ernest D. and Dorothy Thompson Blessing.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Blessing, Winder; daughters, Rikki Blessing and Whitney Blessing, both of Houston, Texas; step-son, Carry Watkins, Winder; two grandchildren; brother, Edwin Blessing, Mt. Vernon, Texas; sisters, Deanna Dixon, Duluth, Janet Coles, Lilburn, Judy Blessing, Loveland, Colo., and Ginger Blessing, Denver, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
The body was cremated.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
