The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office was called last week to investigate a theft from a vehicle that occurred on Georgetown Drive.
Two cars, one a 1985 Ford Thunderbird and the other a 1989 Honda Civic, were entered during the early morning hours last Tuesday.
When the Thunderbird owner was leaving for work, she noticed her glove box and center console had been opened. She later realized that her Nextel cellphone valued at $200 was missing. Also missing was a cheesecake valued at $10.
There was no damage to the vehicle.
The Honda Civic, which had been parked next to the Thunderbird, was also entered, but nothing was stolen.
