Wal-Mart security catches shoplifter

Wal-Mart loss prevention personnel witnessed the suspect, Miguel Angel Hernandez, age 28 of 3240 Sunrise Village Lane in Norcross, take several items from the men’s department to the toy department. According to the loss prevention officer, Hernandez then placed the items in white bags and left the store.

Hernandez was detained outside the store and held until a deputy from the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office arrived.

The deputy placed Hernandez under arrest for felony shoplifting.

The 28 items stolen by Hernandez were returned to the store.
