Barrow County CERT plans training exercise
The Barrow County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will hold a training exercise on Saturday, October 10 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. in downtown Winder.
The exercise will be held on Stephens Street between North Broad and Park Street.
The drill is part of an eight week course in which volunteers are trained to assist Barrow County public safety personnel and other first responders in the event of a natural or manmade disaster.
Emergency services personnel will evaluate the volunteers during the drill.
