“Stupid and drunk” man arrested
A Winder man was arrested last week after striking his stepson and assaulting his wife.
According to the wife, Anthony Wayne King, 30, of 23 Hosch Circle in Winder, became violent and threw a can of beer at her. He also overturned the refrigerator and struck his 11-year-old stepson on the ear and mouth.
When the wife attempted to call 911, King took the phone away and would not let her call for help.
The stepson told police that King was “stupid and drunk like always.” The child said he was attempting to defend his mother when King struck him.
According to the police report, the child had a swollen lip from being struck on the mouth.
King was charged with two counts of first degree cruelty to children, two counts of simple assault, two counts of simple battery and interference with a 911 call.

According to the article it was His stepson who called him stupid. Also, don't forget that your cousin, being the pillar of the community that he is, was arrested for striking the child. It appears to me that the child was calling it like he saw it...
