Man arrested after altercation with juvenile

Statham Police were called to a Sunset Drive address last week to investigate a domestic dispute.

Jonathan Davenport, 37, of 1193 Highland Oaks in Athens, was charged with simple battery against a juvenile at the location.

No further details are available.

Other arrests made by Statham Police this past week include:

• Carmen Jara, 45, 2045 Providence Road, Statham, driving while unlicensed.

• Robert Michael Anderson, 48, 2006 Providence Road, Statham, probation violation.
