CERT seeks business partners
The Barrow County Emergency Response Team (CERT) is seeking assistance in order to provide emergency preparedness training to a broader section of the community.
Bob Richardson, director of the Barrow County CERT, and his group have developed a two hour presentation that covers the basic emergency preparedness training established by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The training is designed to be delivered to homeowner’s associations, churches, retirement communities or other adult groups.
CERT needs business partners willing to fund necessary printed material and other promotional items, such as weather radios.
