Woman forgets purse, loses money

A Winder woman is $409 poorer after leaving her purse in the bathroom of the Atlanta Highway Wal-Mart.

The victim told police she placed her purse on the bathroom counter while she changed the diapers of her two children. The woman left the bathroom, forgetting her purse. By the time she realized her purse was missing and returned to the bathroom, her purse was gone.

Upon checking with store personnel, the woman learned her purse had been turned in by an unidentified person. When the woman examined the contents of her purse, she noticed her cash was missing.

There are no suspects at this time.
