Man arrested after biting girlfriend
A Winder man was arrested by Barrow County Sheriff’s deputies after a domestic dispute turned violent.
The victim said she drove to a Michael Drive address to pick up her boyfriend, George Wayne Washington, 32, of 738 Baskin Circle in Winder.
The victim demanded to know what Washington was doing at the Michael Drive location. The couple began to argue and the victim walked outside and got into her vehicle.
Before she could leave, Washington jumped into her vehicle and refused to get out even after the victim asked him several times to do so.
When the victim attempted to push Washington out of the car, Washington allegedly bit her on the wrist.
Washington then got out of the car and pounded his fist on the hood leaving a visible dent.
Washington claimed he did not want his girlfriend to leave and was simply trying to work things out when the victim pulled his hair.
Washington said he only bit the victim because she knew how “sensitive” he is about his hair. Washington said he got out of the vehicle and hit the hood in frustration.
Washington was arrested and charged with battery and criminal trespass.
