Auburn Police were called to Shackleford Park after a city employee discovered the park’s Porta Potty had been damaged.
According to police reports, the portable toilet had been knocked over and dented in several places. The top had also been separated from the base.
The investigating officer noted tire tracks leading up to the damaged toilet.
There are no suspects at this time.
In a separate act of vandalism, a trailer at the South Auburn Mobile Home Park on Main Street was tagged with graffiti.
The groundskeeper advised police that several other trailers had been vandalized. The damage to the other trailers consisted of broken and damaged windows.
The incident is under investigation.
