Woman seeks help after crude messages

An Auburn woman contacted police last week after receiving several crude voice messages from an ex-boyfriend.

The woman told police that after ending the relationship with the man several weeks ago, she began receiving emails and harassing phone calls from him.

After receiving several messages containing crude sexual references and requests, the woman contacted police saying she feared the man would come by her house or place of work.

The woman declined to press charges, but requested information about obtaining a protective order.

Other incidents investigated by Auburn police this past week include:

• theft by taking on Wynfield Court.

• fight at an Appalachee Church Road address.

• domestic dispute on Carter Road.
