Unemployment rate holds steady for Barrow County

Barrow County’s unemployment rate of 11.2 percent held steady in July, the same as it was in June.
But the rate was still far above last year’s rate of 6.5 percent for July.
According to state numbers, some 3,801 people in Barrow County were unemployed in July.
