OBIT: Hugh Wilson

Hugh Dorsey Wilson, 89, of Winder, died Saturday, April 19, 2008. Born in Gwinnett County, he was the son of the late John H. and Addie Callahan Wilson. He was a poultry farmer and a member of Winder Worship Center. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Lee Wilson. Survivors include sons, Hugh Wilson Jr., Greensboro, Jimmy and Mark Wilson, both of Winder; daughters, Virginia Brown, Janice Yaptengco, Annette Mangubat, Cathy Wilson, Martha Harbin and Nancy Hardy, all of Winder; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, George Wilson, Buford; and a sister, Lillie Thomason, Winder. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 22, at Winder Worship Center with the Revs. Charles Reese and Sherri White officiating. Burial was in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
