OBIT: Annie Kitchens

Annie Ruth Jones Kitchens, 44, of Danielsville, died Saturday, April 12, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Talmadge Eugene and Winnie Blanche Smallwood Jones and was a cosmetologist. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Terry L. Kitchens. Survivors include a daughter, Kerry Marie Kitchens, Danielsville; sisters, Judy Marie McCannon, Pendergrass, and Janice Kay Hart, Homer; her life partner, Janet Evans; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17, at 2 p.m., from the Cave Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. Chad Risen and Frank Walker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, April 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
