Pinner steps down as GM at WIMO

WIMO has seen numerous upgrades under Pinner's leadership including its move to the downtown Winder area.

Pinner was also the voice of the station on his afternoon show, 'the Southern Drive' with Hendry Miller.

In his announcement to the radio staff, Smith said "Scott was also our technical expert and play-by-play anchor for high school sports. His shoes are going to be hard to fill, but as they say in this business 'the show must go on.' I have enjoyed working with Scott for this past year and wish him well in his future endeavors."

Smith further announces the following new appointments at the station.

Travis King takes over as director of production and Brett James has become director of programming and sports.

“We look forward to the new changes coming to WIMO, and are excited about what the future holds”, said Smith.
