Child molestation suspect worked at local school

Michael Lee Womack, 55, Winder, was arrested by Barrow County Sheriff's Office Investigators this week on two counts of child molestation and one count of cruelty to children.

Womack was an employee in the Barrow County School System at the time of the incident, but officials said it does not appear the incident was related to his employment.

Officers said the incident took place in June 2008 and was reported in late January of this year.
